This book moved me to tears. As a teacher and an
aunt with chronic pain, I have a hard time explaining my limitations to the kids in my life. This is such a
useful tool for teaching children about chronic illnesses. I highly recommend this book!

Such a wonderful book for opening up discussions about differences with our children. The author does a beautiful job at capturing the joy from a child's eye view and then juxtaposing that with the anxiety adults with disabilities may feel when getting ready for a play date with young family members. This is a great discussion tool for families to help their children understand family members that may have a disability, limited mobility or honestly anxiety in general. So nicely done!

This is a wonderful book and resource; it simply but beautifully explains what it's like to live with chronic pain. It also shows how that can be confusing for others and how to navigate that confusion. A wonderful resource for kids (and adults!) everywhere.
